Gatherer's Guide to Cataclysm Zones

Familiar zones have been forever altered by the rise of Deathwing. The land is now devastated and broken. So where should I go to level Mining and Herbalism on my new character? We put together this chart to help you figure out where each type of ore and herb has been relocated.

Zones are listed in order of level from lowest to highest. The level ranges were taken directly from the official Zone Status posted by Blizzard for Cataclysm testing. The ores/herbs for each zone are listed by volume - the type shown first is the one most frequently seen, etc. Some rare ores are not listed in some zones, this does mean that it doesn't spawn there, merely that it wasn't present when this list was compiled.
